The overall criteria for the awards was to: “Acknowledge those companies and professionals who have gone above and beyond to make vessels and ship operations greener and used technology in innovative ways to their advantage.”
In the innovation category, KNL scored top in the judging panel’s criteria: “This Award will acknowledge the broader applications of technology for shipping’s future.
It will be presented for the innovative use of digital technology that has made significant change to ship operations or shipping business.”
