Karelia CBC is an EU funded project to support cooperation between the bordering regions of Finland and Russia. The local chapter of the is a pitching event, organized by the competition’s ambassador in Finland - the CEO of Kids Friendly Media Oy. The competition is for startups, where the majority of founders are women (over 50% shares). This competition is a great opportunity for local and regional startups, entrepreneurs and student teams to express themselves, to find investment and gain valuable experience. The winner in the local competition in Kotka (2 minutes pitches) gets to go on to London to participate in the 5-days-training session, and pitch in the Final Demo Day event on 1 July, 2017.
