The employer must pay the young employee according to the collective labour agreement or a generally binding labour agreement. The City of Oulu supervises its obligations according to the act on the contractor's liability also when it comes to granting and paying subsidies and supports. If the applicant does not belong to the preliminary tax withholding register, the recipient of a support must be able to verify the fulfilment of appropriate obligations when asked. The employer is obliged to take care of the job security and occupational accident insurances of a summer employee. Employers can consult their own insurance companies for more information on insurances.

Collective labour agreement * I will abide by a collective labour agreement when paying the salary of a summer job voucher employee. I will abide by a generally binding labour agreement when paying the salary of a summer job voucher employee. The field I represent has no collective labour agreement nor a generally binding labour agreement. We shall pay a normal and fair salary so that the mininum wage regulated in the employment conditions of the Employment Security Act is met (no less than 1399€/month in 2024).

Terms * I have observed that the employer must belong to the preliminary tax withholding register or be able to verify the fulfilment of appropriate obligations before the summer job voucher subsidy can be paid. I agree on the processing of my personal data for the purposes described below.
