Export Cooperation Sweden-Finland (ExportCo)
The Export Cooperation Sweden-Finland (ExportCo) project helps export-oriented SMEs find new markets and develop their own export activities and internationalization operations globally. The aim is to find and activate potential clusters in the project area and to help companies network and find potential new business opportunities and partners for new markets together with Swedish companies. In addition, the ExportCo project will clarify international support services and service models on the northern regions and it will increase inter-organizational communication and collaboration between ISS organizations in Northern Finland and Northern Sweden. The cities involved to the project are Oulu, Rovaniemi and Luleå. The participating organizations from Finland are Finnvera, Business Rovaniemi, Northern Finland Border Counseling, Team Finland / Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment, Chambers of Commerce in Oulu and Lapland. Swedish organizations are LTU Business, Exportkreditnämnden EKN, Almi, Business Sweden, ABI, Arctic Business Incubator, Region Norrbotten, IUC Norr and Norrbottens Handelskammare.
The project is funded by the European Union Interreg-Nord program and the project partners are BusinessOulu and Norrbottens Handelskammare.
