Julkaistu 28.11.2012

At Business Kitchen, people can get together to cook up some business. It's an open social space where anyone can come to develop their ideas or business with the support of a wide cooperation network. The Business Kitchen startup center was established in August 2012 and the grand opening will be held on November 28.

Located on Torikatu, Business Kitchen is the shared startup center of the University of Oulu and the Oulu University of Applied Sciences. Its goal is to support entrepreneurship and help startups by offering support, information and university expertise through an entrepreneurial network. Clients include entrepreneurs from the Oulu region, potential startups and students.

The Business Kitchen menu includes events, seminars and a good portion of networking

Business Kitchen is a new kind of operating model in Oulu. The center encourages the students of the Oulu University of Applied Sciences and the University of Oulu to network with each other and with employers, and offers students opportunities to carry out projects for companies in interdisciplinary teams.

The startup center gathers up the most important movers and shakers in the field under the same roof and urges them to work together in various ways. Organizations operating in the Business Kitchen's offices include Demola Oulu, the Oulu University of Applied Sciences Business Incubator, Business Blender, startup development services, BusinessOulu service desk, Oulu Student Entrepreneurship Society, Servo Design Center, Enterprise Accelerator, Finnish Enterprise Agencies and several startup companies.

Business Kitchen regularly organizes training and events that support entrepreneurship. For up-to-date information on upcoming events, please visit the Business Kitchen Facebook page.
