Julkaistu 21.04.2021

CEVT (China Euro Vehicle Technology AB) delivers its latest Lynk & Co 01 EU version to Oulu. The car will be used in research and development by Oulu Automotive Cluster.

“We want to accelerate our innovation processes and as an example of it, we provide Oulu Automotive Cluster with our Lynk & Co 01 EU,” says Leif Axelsson, Innovation Strategy Director at CEVT.

“Cooperation with Oulu Automotive Cluster has been fruitful and resulted in many new innovations which we use to support our brands towards sustainable mobility solutions,“ Axelsson adds.

”The new Lynk & Co 01 EU version is a fine continuation to our cooperation with CEVT and Gothenburg’s automotive ecosystem since 2018. The digital transformation in automotive industry has just begun, and this creates big business opportunities for our companies and research institutions. As a world-leading hub of radio technology, IoT solutions and 6G research, we will support the automotive industry in achieving its visions of autonomous driving,” states Juha Ala-Mursula, Director of BusinessOulu.

”There are already over 100 companies and more than 20 research organisations in our cluster, and with the new Lynk & Co 01 EU car we can test our products and service ideas more swiftly and co-create new solutions. Especially SMEs have given us positive feedback of this opportunity, as automotive OEMs usually do not interact directly with startups,” says Eija Hämäläinen, Head of Oulu Automotive Cluster in delight.

China Euro Vehicle Technology AB, CEVT, is an innovation centre for Chinese Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, developing mobility solutions for a different tomorrow. Modular development, advanced virtual engineering and software development enable CEVT to deliver world-class technology to all Geely Group brands.
