Oulu’s first-ever sauna festival will take over Tuira Beach from 5–9 June 2026, bringing together 13 different saunas and sauna experiences.
The festival features mobile specialty saunas, Estonian sauna traditions, whisking treatments, sauna artists, discussions and relaxed riverside atmosphere by the Oulu River.
The festival also includes the now-classic, floating Kesän Sauna and the newly opened Löylykontti sauna container, both of which will continue offering sauna experiences at Tuira Beach also after the festival, including possibilities for company recreation days and group events.
During the festival week, the Saunasampo seminar will explore sauna culture, wellbeing and the London sauna boom. Festival partner Kaleva will also host sauna discussions as part of the programme.
The festival offers an opportunity to experience Oulu’s sauna culture and take a moment to relax in the middle of the Oulu2026 European Capital of Culture year.
