Apply for subsidies on eAsiointi

Once a young person has completed their summer job and been paid for it, you can apply for a summer job voucher subsidy from the city. Applications for summer job voucher subsidy are made via the online eAsiointi service. The application must be submitted by October 31, 2026. Summer job voucher applications and attachments on paper shall no longer be returned to the City of Oulu.

To use the service, the applicant must be strongly authenticated and authorised to use the business ID. This could be a general signatory right or, more specifically, a “Subsidy application” authorization (Avustushakemuksen tekeminen). Instructions on how to obtain authorization can be found on the Suomi.fi website.

You will need the details of the company and the young person from the filled-in summer job voucher for the eAsiointi application. Please attach the employment contract and a receipt for payment of salaries. You can access the eAsiointi service via the link below.

When you fill out the application in eAsiointi, you will find light blue instruction boxes under the bar showing the progress of the application. Please read these instructions carefully. Finally, check that the application has been sent successfully (section “9 Summary”). The system will send an automatic message to the email address you provided when the application has been received. You can also view the status of your application in eAsiointi under the OmaAsiointi tab. If there are any deficiencies in the application, the system will send an email requesting additional information, which can also be responded to via eAsiointi. So, remember to check your email (and possibly your spam folder) for these messages. Please contact the summer job team in good time if you have any questions about the application process.

Please note that summer job voucher subsidy shall not be paid if the summer employee has not been paid the salary specified in the summer job voucher terms and conditions, if the documents are incomplete, or if they have not been returned by October 31, 2026. The City of Oulu cannot be invoiced for summer job voucher payments.
