University of Oulu in collaboration with Biotech Start-Up Management Ltd is arranging a day from academic partnering opportunities available at the University of Oulu. Many of the opportunities pitched at the event has not been presented anywhere publicly. See the short descriptions from the projects attached.

AIM: To industry – find new inventions, know-how and collaboration
To academics – get feedback from industry from the relevance and need, find collaborators and funding

- 3 - 6 pm: Get together event with refreshments and snacks

You are warmly welcomed to visit Oulu, the capital of Northern Scandinavia. We are located only about 60 minute’s flights away from Helsinki. We also suggest for overnight visitors to try one of the following hotels:

If it is not possible to travel to Oulu we will invite you to participate by using online connection. It can be arranged by using Adobe Connect Pro, where you get access to the event through an internet link.
FEES AND OPTIONAL SPONSORSHIP:
The event is free-of-charge. However, if you wish to sponsor the event and gain additional visibility for your company amongst the participants, please contact me regarding these options. The sponsorship funds are used to cover direct expenses from the event.
