Minima has collected already 5,5 million Euros with two‐stage seed funding.

Minima Processor, a microprocessor technology company based in Oulu and Espoo, has completed its two‐stage seed funding round. Lifeline Ventures is the latest investor showing interest to the new processor technology developed by Minima. In the first stage Minima attracted investments from VTT Ventures, CFT Nordic Capital, Aalto University, and from a group of angel investors. Altogether Minima has collected 5,5 million Euros in less than a year. ”This means that our patented technology is definitely on the rise and getting recognition. Now we can keep on improving the technology and continue searching more partners from three continents”, says Toni Soini, the Minima CEO.

Earlier this year Minima has announced a contract with an international semiconductor company but the name of the client remains undisclosed in order to protect confidentiality of the cooperation. Currently they are having new cooperation and customer negotiations both in the United States and in China.

”We consider Minima’s technology as a very promising breakthrough that allows radically improved – as much as 20 times higher – processor energy efficiency. Minimizing the energy consumption is the key factor In the vastly growing IoT markets and Minima’s expertise on that field is first‐class”, says Lifeline Venture partner Juha Lindfors.
