Oulu Dance Hack is an annual research and performance event that combines new technology and the moving body, bringing dance and media artists from all over the world to Oulu.
In August 2018, the theme will be: Body Interface.
We are now looking for exciting tech innovators who want to test their products to the limit. The selected companies are invited to provide their product or application with full technical support for the use of the artists throughout the week of the Hack. No other costs involved.
In return, the companies are offered unique opportunities to raise their public profile, which is supported with an international press release before and after the event. The companies will also gain video and photographic materials for marketing their innovation, giving it and its features an interesting visual context.
Oulu Dance Hack, now in its third year, is organized by TaikaBox and OAMK.
Oulu – the capital of Northern Scandinavia – is a city that is proud to incubate a rich environment of technological innovation. Oulu City is currently preparing to apply for the prestigious European Capital of Culture 2026, with a focus on the integration of new technology, arts and culture. The inherent increase in media attention is an opportunity not to be missed.
