Company description
Turveruukki is a peat production company based in the north and east of Finland. It belongs to Oulun Energia Group. Turveruukki supplies power plants and industry with local energy peat and wood for heat and power production - and produces environmental peat for its local clients such as farms, and for export. Its operations are based on cooperation with independent subcontractors, who are responsible for preparing the mire areas, and producing, loading and transporting the peat. The company has longstanding experience in international EU projects.
