Arizona Chemical is the world’s leading biorefiner of pine chemicals. We provide natural pine-based materials to our customers in many diverse markets including adhesives, inks, coatings, road marking, tires & rubber, personal care, lubricants, fuel additives, mining and oilfield. In order to meet the climate challenge, scarce natural resources need to be used in the most efficient and sustainable way, using raw materials to their full potential. Our raw materials are natural co-products of the wood pulping process to produce paper. Arizona Chemical’s Oulu plant is situated in Nuottasaari and has been refining crude tall oil and turpentine since 1940 and it has 85 employees.
