Scandinavian Physiological Society Annual Meeting, August 15 -17 in Oulu - 15.07.2008

On the behalf of the Scandinavian Physiological Society (SPS) and the local organizing committee, it is my great honor and privilege to invite you to participate in the forthcoming Scandinavian Physiological Meeting in Oulu, the Silicon Valley of the North, from the 15th to the 17th of August 2008.
We will implement the most interesting and current topics to the program, consisting of state of the art lectures, specialized symposia, oral presentations and guided poster sessions from the submitted abstracts. From these presenters, three 'Young Investigator Awards' will be chosen by a Jury. In addition, a Call for Submission of Symposia from SPS members and participants from the Baltic Countries, Poland and St. Petersburg will be open from the 15th of August until 15th of October, 2007. Selection of symposia are made on a competitive basis evaluated by the local organization committee.
The University of Oulu is one of the largest universities in Finland providing us with the academic environment for a stimulating meeting to foster exchange of ideas, collaboration and friendship. Welcome to Oulu!
