Teamwork cross the border - Matchmaking tour in Kalix, Luleå and Skellefteå - 25.03.2009
”The teamwork between the Swedish and Finns has not been forgotten even during the slump in the economy and the current financial slow down”, states the Project Manager Mr Antti Tauriainen from Micropolis Ii and the CEO Mr Anders Högström from Kalix Electropolis AB -company.
Mr Tauriainen and Mr Högström are busy organizing a free-of-charge Matchmaking event for small and medium size companies. The event is an ideal way to find new contacts for business co-operations. The affair will take place on the 15.-17. April. Micro-Nano- Optronics -Research-Development (MNORD) meetings transmit tree main themes.
Assembly will be held literally “on the road” during the tour in Kalix, Luleå and Skellefteå in North Sweden. ”A real Road Show in Sweden”, Mr Tauriainen points out.
Expectations are high
From Sweden, approximately 60 different electronics companies are taking part in the extravaganza. Expectations are set high considering that there will be several Finnish electronics companies attending event also.
”We would like even more Finnish companies to come along. There is still room for few companies, which are seeking business partners within the industry such as electronics, optics and testing systems”, says the Micropolis Minact 2 - scheme Project Manager.
On the first day companies have a possibility to meet the company Electropolis in Kalix. Their main special area is new innovative Production Technology within the Electronics industry. On the second day, the agenda is Optics and Optronics Development and productization services in Skellefteå, On the third and final day In Luleå participant have an opportunity to explore small and energy efficient embedded systems development work. The evening program is also build to suit companies to get a maximum benefit.
Minact 2 -scheme national investors are Regional Council of Lapland and the Council of Oulu Region.
