Engineering company Metso has received a large pulp factory order from Russia. The company will deliver a fiber line worth EUR 180 million to the Ilim Group factory in Siberia.

The new fiber line will increase the capacity of the factory, situated in Bratsk, Irkutsk, to over a million tons of coniferous pulp a year. The Bratsk factory will be larger than any of the pulp factories operating in Finland.

The Ilim Group is one of Russia’s most important forest industry companies.
